All in all, I never really thought we had any real privacy.And this last bit of news about the NSA is not new. The Patriot Act will live on long after the “war” ends. Bush started it and we all agreed even Obama a once ardent opponent hails the laws unique balance between security and freedom. The IRS scandal is different, much different this is where government employees used their power to suppress the rights of those they disagree with, now that’s bad. Agree or disagree with the groups they singled out this, we may be next.
But with all the other issues it comes down to credibility, and this administration and frankly all of Washington have non. The scandals have left the Obama White House claiming they knew nothing of IRS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, nothing , heard it just like we did, the freaking news. All the while the NSA has access to everyone’s electronic homes i.e. e-mails, text messages, phone activity everything. You see where I’m going, there is nothing they can’t know. They have free and open access to every part of our life yet a rogue IRS office is a surprise and who told support for Benghazi to stand down nobody knows. Bull Shit
So last school year I filled out the student loan paper work for the upcoming year and accidentally change the year I was in. This immediately triggered an “audit” from the Department of Education which requires interaction with the IRS. The school said this was rare but it does happen. It was six weeks of hell form after form after form. Finally I was done, approved and ready for this coming finical year. Until last month when they decided to audit me again.
Last year this blog and my Facebook account was used for political opinions, views and rants. I purged not to hide but to take a mental vacation from the stress of our inept political leaders. Now I’m not saying I was target but with the recent news reports nothing would surprise me.
So for you government trolls who like to spy and gather information on us a Americans let me make this simple.
I believe and support the Constitution of the United States.
I’m a conservative with strong libertarian leanings.
I believe in God
I support the the second amendment ( as I do all of the amendments)
I think the government is too big.
I think the IRS should be purged and a flat tax system introduced. Yes fire them you don’t need and jail those who broke the law.
So there you go in a nutshell, have at it you overreaching jackasses. Put me on your watch list, harass me with audits and paperwork, stronger foes have tried to destroy this country but the American people will win. You will not silence any.
